Q: I can't locate the registration code/activation code in the order confirmation email, where is it?
A: There is a 28-character string included in the order confirmation email. And the string is called "License Code", which is your registration code/activation code.

Q: I placeded the order at least 2 hours ago, but I still have received my order confirmation email and registration code/activation code. What happened?
A: A license key will be sent to your email address within 4 hours, if no checking needs to be done on your order. However, sometimes it may take one day to get the order confirmation email and your registration information, if order is to be manually review to prevent fraud.

Q: I can't hear any audio after I converted the DVD movie/video files?

A: If you cannot hear audio, go to "Options" menu -> "DVD Settings", choose a proper DVD Audio Decoder, such as AC3Filter (Download). Remember, you need to find out a working audio decoder in the program's DVD Setting.

Q: When I played the converted file, the audio is choppy/clicking/sticky/crackling/noisy. How do I get rid of the audio problem?

A: We advise you always use WinDVD player 7 or PowerDVD player 6, then launch the AVex converter, go to menu "Options", choose "DVD Settings", then select "Microsoft DVD Navigator", "Intervideo Video Decoder" and "Intervideo Audio Decoder" in the "DVD Settings" dialog window; or select select "Microsoft DVD Navigator", "Intervideo Video Decoder" and "Intervideo Audio Decoder" in the "DVD Settings" dialog window.

Or, you can choose the settings at the medium level, do not try to set up the audio bitrate and video bitrate too high. Meanwhile, reducing the resolution might also help.

Sometimes, Macrovision or Ligos might also cause the audio problem, removing these codecs will help.

Q: I got a "Key exchange" error, can you help?

A: Try to exit the program and run again. Or upgrade to DirectX 9.0c. For further information see this article. You may try to select a "DVD Navigator" other than "Microsoft DVD Navigator" in the DVD Settings dialog. If you still experience the problem, download and install DVD43.

A: If you cannot play some DVD due to parental control, please check and make sure your Windows Media Player can play the DVD correctly. Q: How can I set the DVD subtitle(subpicture) ON/OFF?
A: It is recommended to use the native DVD menu shown in the preview panel to set subtitle(subpicture) ON or OFF. (Press "DVD menu" button on the right to show native DVD menu in the preview panel) You may also change the subtitle(subpicture) in the program's Options menu. But there exists some DVD that requires the change must be made in the native DVD menu instead of the program's menu.

Q: Do you support RealMedia, MOV format?
A: The support for rm / rmvb video file is experimental. If you installed some software component (e.g. Moonlight Player) and have difficulties in recording rm / rmvb files, it is recommended to uninstall such component first. MOV verion 1 and version 2 are supported. Some MOV files can not be played in Windows Media Player, thus they are not currently supported by our product as well.

A: This may happen in Vista Business version when the user does not have enough privilege to change registry. Delete the *.reg files in our program's folder, will solve the problem

For example, if you install Avex DVD to iPod Video Suite in the following folder:
C:\Program Files\Avex\Avex DVD to iPod Video Suite

Then delete the *.reg files in this folder.
